Here’s a little background to who I am, why I created this website (by Allah’s permission, alhamdulillah) and my methodology.
My name is AbdusSalaam and I am 23 years old living in shaytaan’s capital of the world – New York City. I’m a college student pursuing a BA in History at Hunter College. I am happily married and have a son whose name is Awzaa’ee. He was named after the great Tabi’ee and Scholar of Hadith in Shaam Abu ‘Amr ‘Abdur-Rahman bin ‘Amr al-Awzaa’ee 157 AH, may Allah have mercy on him. I converted to Islaam from Hinduism in August 2009 and since then Allah has given me success in loving Tawheed, the Sunnah and knowledge. I ask Allah to keep all of us firm in this.
I created this website in order to share benefits I have come across in my studies, prepare myself for life in the grave, and expose the youth to commentary from scholars of this religion. There are many websites that work diligently in translating the works of the scholars so that English speaking Muslims can benefit, and I hope that this small endeavor may help in that cause.
Our methodology in Islaam is to learn the Qur’an and authentic Ahadith through the interpretation of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them all. Everything on this website will be original content that I or my wonderful staff (may Allah preserve them) have translated. Please note that we are humans and that we may make mistakes (may Allah make us better and protect us from that). Therefore, if you see any error in translations, methodology, or if you have any questions and concerns please do not hesitate to send us an email to:
We will get back to you as fast as we can. Baarakallahu feekum. Finally, we ask Allah to allow us to implement this verse:
“Help one another in Al-Birr and At-Taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allah, verily Allah is severe in punishment.” [Al-Maa’idah: 2]
