Should one get married or seek knowledge first?

by Shaykh Saalih bin Fawzaan al-Fawzaan may Allah preserve him 

Question: Should one prefer getting married over seeking knowledge seeing that he is able to preform both of them?

Answer: If he fears for himself fitna then he should prefer to get married first. He should perfect himself, then seek knowledge. If he is able to do to both, then let him marry and seek knowledge and all praises are due to Allah. Being married does not prevent one from seeking knowledge. Just as seeking knowledge does not prevent one from marrying, so let him do both if he is able to do both of these actions. As for if he cannot do both of them and can only do one, then if he fears for himself fitna he should prefer getting married to perfect himself first. If he doesn’t fear for himself fitna then he should seek knowledge first.
