Should we spend time reading or memorizing the Quran?

Question: Is it better to set a specific time for reading the Qur’an daily, or to designate that time for memorizing the book of Allah?

Answer: Combine between these two affairs. Make a specific time for recitation from the verses of the Qur’an in the morning/evening, and memorize what was made easy. Combine between these two affairs and do not confine yourself to only one of them. And this is very possible [to do], yes.
