‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib (may Allah be please with him) said,

حدثوا الناس بما يعرفون؛ أتريدون أن يُكَذَّب الله ورسوله؟

“You should preach to the people in a way that they can easily understand. Would you like that Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) be denied?”
