Are the Hanaabilah the only Madhhab that follows Salafiyyah?

Question: Is it correct to say that the Hanaabilah (those who follow Imaam Ahmad’s madhhab) are the only ones who follow the path of the righteous predecessors (Salaf). What is the reality of Salafiyyah? Is Salafiyyah (understanding the Qur’an and Sunnah through the interpretation of the Companions) harsh and fanatical and some people promote?
Answer: This is not a correct statement. The righteous predecessors were the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them. They were also those who transverse their path from among the Taabi’een, the followers from the Hanafiyyah, Maalikiyyah, Shaafi’eeyah, Hanbaaliyyah, and other than them who were upon the truth. They (were those who) held fast to the tremendous Book and the Purified Sunnah in issues of Tawheed, Allah’s Names and Attributes, and all of the affairs of the religion. We ask Allah to make us from them, to grant all the Muslims in every place governments and nations who hold fast to the Allah’s tremendous Book and the Sunnah of His truthful Messenger. May Allah allow them to rule by and judge between themselves with these two (sources) and warn from everyone who is in opposition to these two (sources). Surely Allah is the All-Capable and the Owner of success.
