Advice to the Student of Knowledge on How to Call People to Tawheed (the Oneness of Allah)

Question: What advice do you offer to the student of knowledge who deals with those whom he runs into frequently?

Answer: Advise them with kindness, and call them to Allah with kindness, and clarify for them shirk (worshiping Allah with other entities) and tawheed with kindness, that perhaps Allah may guide them through you.

Questioner: And if they do not take the advice?

Shaykh bin Baaz: Leave them, disassociate yourself from their actions, unless you wish (to continue encouraging them) then reiterate the advise that perhaps Allah may guide them through you; and if you are patient, Allah will reward you with something better.
